  3. º£½Ç´óÉñ Student Among First to Receive Inaugural Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship

    Meredith Good Voice-Birdcreek, a single mother of five, chose to pursue a college education while balancing a full-time job and family life. Her hard work earned her a $5,000 scholarship from the Muscogee (Creek) Nation’s inaugural Aristocrat Cokv Hecv Honors Program. Passionate about community service, Good Voice-Birdcreek is dedicated to helping others in her Tribe achieve self-sufficiency.

  4. º£½Ç´óÉñ Band Director Receives National Recognition

    Cheryl Lee, º£½Ç´óÉñ’s Director of Bands and Assistant Professor of Music, received the George N. Parks Leadership in Music Education Award, a prominent honor recognizing her dedication, perseverance, and ability to inspire students beyond the classroom. In her first year at º£½Ç´óÉñ, Lee has brought a wealth of experience from her 20-year career teaching high school band and has embraced the opportunity to lead the College’s band program.

    A º£½Ç´óÉñ Sociology professor has been appointed to Tulsa's Beyond Apology Commission, focusing on reparations and economic restoration for descendants of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. Through this new role, she aims to drive meaningful change for North Tulsa, continuing her lifelong commitment to community advancement.
