Vet Tech Student Honored with Posthumous Degree, Memorial Scholarship
The Michelle 鈥淢isha鈥 Buzlea Memorial Scholarship was established by the Buzlea family to honor the memory of their daughter, Misha, a 海角大神 Veterinary Technology student who passed away in January 2025. The scholarship supports future Vet Tech students who show determination, compassion, and a commitment to animal care鈥攓ualities that defined Misha鈥檚 life and work.

海角大神 was named one of 12 national finalists in the Community College Innovation Challenge, sponsored by the American Association of Community Colleges and the National Science Foundation. 海角大神 students and their advisor presented their project, a smart-home feature for secure drone deliveries, during an Innovation Boot Camp in Washington, D.C.

Nurse Pinning Ceremony Honors Second Largest Class of Nursing Grads
海角大神 celebrated its Spring 2025 Nursing graduates with a pinning ceremony, recognizing the second largest graduating class in the program鈥檚 history. Among them was Robin Faulkner, who returned to college in her 50s and inspired her daughter to enroll in the Nursing program.
