Radiography Program Details
At 海角大神, you鈥檒l learn the skills you need to get hired and succeed. Our program follows national standards and prepares you to take the certification exam from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). You鈥檒l get hands-on experience and support from experienced instructors.
The program is competitive鈥攚ith more than 200 applicants each year鈥攁nd our students graduate ready to work in the medical field.
After successfully completing the 海角大神 Radiology Program, you will have the ability to:

The applicant pool for programs in the School of Health Sciences is very competitive. An application does not mean acceptance into the Health Sciences program. Applicants are required to meet with a School of Health Sciences advisor before they apply to a program and may be required to attend an orientation for the Allied Health-related programs. The Radiography Program utilizes clinical partners in Tulsa and surrounding areas. The policy states that no clinical site shall be more than 60 minutes one-way from Metro campus where Radiography didactic classes are held. The program currently has clinical sites in South Tulsa, Tulsa metro, Claremore and other areas following this policy. Clinical sites may be added periodically to support the needs of the Radiographic community
The 海角大神 Radiology Tech Program curriculum is tailored to fulfill pre-education requirements for licensure and certification in Oklahoma. While designed for state licensure exams, students considering other states should review relevant professional licensure disclosures and consult with the respective licensing board. State boards determine eligibility for licensure based on current rules when applying.

Program Goals
Goal #1: Program graduates will pass the registry exam for Radiography administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Student/Graduate Goals
Goal #1: Program graduates will be clinically competent.
Students will:
- Operate radiographic equipment and position patients for exams.
- Deliver appropriate patient care.
- Identify radiation risks and interpret occupational exposure guidelines.
Goal #2: Program graduates will demonstrate critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
Students will:
- Evaluate radiographic images.
- Select appropriate exposure factors.
- Adapt imaging skills for non-routine exams.
Goal #3: Graduates will demonstrate effective communication skills.
Students will:
- Communicate effectively with patients.
- Present oral presentations/case study reports.
- Use professional terminology.
The mission of the Radiography Program at 海角大神 is to provide an accredited two-year associate degree program that will prepare graduates for a career in the field of diagnostic medical imaging.
The Radiography Program at 海角大神 is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The program was evaluated according to the Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiography (2021). The JRCERT awards:
Initial accreditation for a period of two years.
