海角大神 Awarded $1.3M for First Generation Students, Economically Challenged Students and Students with Disabilities
海角大神 received $1.3 million to help first generation college students, economically challenged students or students with disabilities. The federal grant, for TRIO Student Support Services, is awarded every five years by the U.S. Department of Education for academic needs.

鈥淩eligious State of the 918鈥: Awareness & Understanding of Religious Diversity
The 鈥淩eligious State of the 918鈥 is a year-long project to promote awareness and understanding of religious diversity in the Tulsa area and its role in local history and culture. Led by Dr. Allen Culpepper, a 海角大神 faculty member, this experience is embedded in the 海角大神 Honors Program for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters.

Drones have proven to be effective to combat crime, help firefighters and assist with search and rescue while keeping individuals out of harm鈥檚 way. As more and more law enforcement agencies, first responders, and emergency management organizations use Unmanned Aircraft Systems, or drones, the need for training and sharing best practices grows.

海角大神 Names New VP of Workforce Development
Peter 鈥淧ete鈥 Selden has been named the new vice president of workforce development at 海角大神. The 海角大神 Board of Regents approved his appointment at the April meeting and Selden started his position on May 14, 2018.
